Vali teaches tourism, hotel management, marketing, protocol, and business management at a vocational secondary school in Sárvár, Hungary. She came to teaching from an HR management background and has been using Redmenta since the very early days of the platform. She’s also very tech savvy, and recently attended an international AI training course in Portugal.
Vali had always been a committed, innovative teacher — designing her own materials, building a custom classroom environment, and even creating her own teaching website. But grading consumed enormous amounts of her time. “Grading is where teachers lose hours and hours of their lives,” she says. She also struggled to keep lessons feeling fresh for students — not just different activities, but genuinely new experiences that could surprise even a class that had been with her for years.
Vali has used Redmenta since its earliest iteration and witnessed it evolve from a simple worksheet generator into what she now describes as “a teaching assistant.” The feature that made the biggest impression was the ability to create custom feedback personas — she could design a feedback character that matched her own tone and what she knew would resonate with her specific students. When she demonstrated the chatbot feature to a class, “they sat there stunned — ‘what is this and how does it work?’” That moment captured everything Redmenta represents for her: a tool that keeps her interesting and keeps students genuinely curious. She even recommended it to a Portuguese university lecturer at an international AI conference.
