Andrea teaches science and biology to upper elementary students in grades 5–8 in Hungary. She has been using Redmenta since 2020, adopting it more intensively during the pandemic, and over the past year has gone fully paperless for assessments, earning her school the Eco-School designation.
Before Redmenta, Andrea’s biggest time drain was handwritten exam grading — a task she describes as huge and largely unnecessary. Deciphering students’ handwriting consumed hours each week, leaving less time for interactive, hands-on lessons. She also faced a classroom environment where she lacked the equipment and dedicated space to make her science lessons as experimental as she wanted, and found that earning students’ engagement required connecting the curriculum to their emotional world — something she loved but that took real effort.
Redmenta eliminated Andrea’s grading burden almost entirely. She now uses it exclusively for assessments — no paper exams at all — and credits the AI-powered assignment generation as a turning point: uploading a textbook chapter and receiving a ready-made, varied question set saves her hours she can now invest in the classroom. She customises assignments for students with special educational needs (SNI and BTM), adjusting question types, quantity, and difficulty. Students respond positively too — they’re calmer during digital tests and enjoy seeing results immediately. Andrea’s enthusiastic recommendation of Redmenta to colleagues — and her plans to hold a school-wide demonstration — show how committed she is to spreading what she describes as an eco-friendly, time-saving, multi-modal assessment tool.
