Gabriella teaches vocational theory subjects to logistics technician students at a secondary vocational school in Hungary. With more than 15 years of teaching experience and a deep belief in project-based, experience-driven learning, she has built Redmenta into the core of her teaching practice. Today, many of her colleagues also use it regularly for lesson preparation and assessment.
Gabriella had always prepared every day — even after 25 years. But she found herself spending hours each week in collaborative planning sessions with colleagues, looking for new ways to engage students and create relevant assessments for highly specific vocational content. Her question banks needed constant updating. When students filled in the same formats repeatedly, the work felt repetitive, and identifying where thinking broke down was time-consuming. “When I got stuck, I found it really hard to know where to look for the change to become successful.”
Redmenta became Gabi’s primary assessment platform — and her primary tool for understanding how students think. She discovered that by phrasing the same topic in different ways, she could see exactly where comprehension failed and where it succeeded. “Redmenta helps me get to know their thinking. I see how they understand the questions and when they can answer properly.” After showing colleagues how a weaker graduating class improved their results by an average of 1.3 grade points using Redmenta, 17 teachers in her school now use it actively — and more than half of the 60-person faculty uses it regularly.
